Week 11 (FYP Semester 1)

As shown in this video below,it depicted that the value of capacitor in Receiver Circuit influence the distance and brightness of LED. The value of capacitor directly proportional with the distance of Receiver and Transmitter circuit. The higher value of capacitor in Receiver circuit, the higher the distance it can go further.

Week 9 (FYP Semester 1)

The voltage regulator is a regulator used to maintain voltage levels. The regulator is designed to maintain a constant voltage level. A voltage regulator is a simple “feed-forward design. It uses an electromechanical mechanism. Depending on the design, it used to regulate one or more AC or DC voltages.

Let say use LM7806 is used to regulate voltage in the system and output of 6V dc (maximum output current: 1000mA). It supports input voltage from 5.75V dc to 6.25V dc. If the input voltage is over, the voltage regulator may be burn or auto shutdown due to overheat. A diode is connected at the input LM7806. This is to avoid voltage reversely. An on/off switch is used to turn on/off the system and LED is used to indicate the system power on/off. The LED is connected through 1000Ω resistor to limit current pass through LED.
